Each access card delivered must be returned upon departure / check-out. The lack of a card will entail a penalty of €5 per card not delivered / returned.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION CONDITIONS
The reservation is confirmed / guaranteed by Credit Card / Bank Transfer / Stripe
- 100% of the total reservation will be charged in advance, both in Non-Refundable Rates and in Standard Flexible Rates.
- The Non-Refundable rate does not allow changes to dates or the guest who is the owner of the reservation, whatever the
- In Flexible / Standard 14-day rates, the client may cancel and be reimbursed for the amount of their reservation, minus 5% for bank management / transaction fees, as long as it is cancelled 14 days before the arrival date of the Within approximately 48-72 hours from the date of the cancellation request, if it is legible.

- RATE TYPES AND CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
Depending on the rate type chosen:
Standard FLEX14DAYS or Non-Refundable. In any case, payment will always be in Euros, and will be validated upon confirmation of the reservation, in the percentage that your reservation has been made, based on the reserved rate: Standard or Non-Refundable. The establishment may apply, announcing in each offer, an alternative type of cancellation condition and rate; according to the needs of the season and situation
Standard Rate FLEX14DAYS: For the Confirmation and Guarantee of your Reservation, Hostal CIUDAD CONDAL will charge in advance 100% of the total amount of your reservation, as a Reservation Deposit.
For Reservations made within the period of 14 days in advance, upon arrival at CIUDAD CONDAL, whatever the total amount and the type of rate, it will be for the total reservation, for each room reserved, and will not be refundable or modifiable for any reason.
If for any reason, on the day of your arrival you do not show up or do not notify in writing to info@hostalciudadcondal.com of a possible delay in your arrival, it will be considered as “NO SHOW” / “NO SHOW”, and therefore cancellation fees of 100% will be applied, and your reservation will be cancelled, not allowing use for the remaining days.
NON-REFUNDABLE Rate: The full amount must be paid at the time of booking confirmation, and in the event of cancellation and/or modification, you will not be able to claim any refund and the rest of the stay will be cancelled. You will not be able to claim availability for the rest of the stay, if you do not notify us in advance of the day of arrival of your reservation, before 10:00 p.m. Even so, that day will not be recoverable.
The Non-Refundable rate does not allow changes to dates or to the guest who is the owner of the reservation, whatever the reason.
IMPORTANT FOR BOTH RATES: The credit card used to pay for your reservation must be presented upon arrival / Check-in, to verify its authenticity and ownership. If you cannot present it, or it belongs to another person, it must be authorized remotely by the cardholder, providing the required documentation for this. If it cannot be presented at check-in / registration, you must pay the full amount upon arrival + 5% for administrative bank charges; and the amount previously charged will be refunded to the same card on which the charge was initially made.

As verification and for any type of rate, CIUDAD CONDAL may request upon your arrival, even if your room has already been paid for in advance, a credit card, or in its absence cash, as a guarantee for your stay.
This is a security deposit for an amount of €100 per night of your reserved stay. This deposit will be automatically released after your departure, or upon your departure, if it is in cash, once the room has been inspected, if no damage, misuse, damage or theft is found in your room during your stay.
CIUDAD CONDAL reserves the right to refuse admission and stay in the establishment for reasons of Abuse or Negligence of the facilities, Minimum hygienic conditions, capacity not permitted in your reservation, Violence, Disturbances, Disturbance of the order and rest of other guests, etc. Damage, Loss, Theft, Improper Use or external use of our facilities, our materials, unusual technical cleaning, damaged furniture and textiles will entail a penalty.
- PAYMENT CONDITIONS:
We accept payments in currency (€) EUR, cash, by card, by bank transfer in advance upon arrival, “Stripe” With the exception of reservations and deposits paid by bank transfer, all credit cards that have been used for payment of the deposit or full reservation must be presented upon arrival / check-in, for verification of ownership, as indicated above. Likewise, for virtual cards that you own, you must provide a bank note of said charge, reflecting your ownership and knowledge of the charge, and send it by email to info@hostalciudadcondal.com
We also remind you that the entry of any person or visitor not registered during check-in / arrival and registration, to your room, at any time of the day, is prohibited. Penalties will apply. See point below. Check-out must be before 12:00 noon, on the day of departure. Failure to check out at the indicated time will entitle the hotel to charge for an additional night.
Charges will be based on the hotel’s current prices, which are available on the website. If the check-out time is reached and the room needs to be occupied for a new reservation, CIUDAD CONDAL may collect and remove the belongings from the room without prior notice. For reservations comprising 4 or more rooms, these are considered group reservations, and your check-out time must be before 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Early Check-In: if available (and only after 9:30 a.m.) will entail an additional charge of between €20 and €30, to be agreed with Reception, depending on the check-in time.
- RESERVATIONS AND GROUPS (Special conditions)
For reservations that include 4 or more rooms, they are considered group reservations, and your check-out time must be before 11:00 m. on the day of departure.
- CHILDREN’S POLICY
We do not accept accommodation for children under 7 years of age. Children aged 7 years and older will be counted as adults for the purposes of room accommodation.
- UNACCOMPANIED MINORS:
According to Spanish law, the age of majority is set at 18 years. Minors (under 18 years of age) who wish to stay without being accompanied by a responsible adult / guardian / mother / father must be authorized by their guardians. To do so, they must send by email to info@hostalciudadcondal.com prior to their arrival, a written authorization document, with data and photos of the identification (DNI/NIE/ID/Passport) of the minor and the guardian. The relationship between the two must be confirmed; in the case of Spain, by presenting the family book. They must also be responsible for any damage that may be caused by the minor during their stay, and CIUDAD CONDAL is exonerated from all responsibility for any situation caused inside and outside the establishment by the minor during their stay.
- PETS AND/OR OTHER PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED, EXCEPT FOR GUIDE DOGS WITH ACCREDITATION.
- ACCESSIBILITY OR SPECIAL NEEDS
CIUDAD CONDAL has an access ramp and a direct lift to the bedroom floor, but it is NOT prepared for accessibility for people in wheelchairs or with special needs, nor does it have rooms for this.
- PARKING
We have a nearby garage (parking spaces), with a very reasonable price for the area, for our clients. They must request a parking voucher upon arrival. Parking spaces are not reserved in advance. Please check with Reception or at info@hostalciudadcondal.com The establishment is exempt from all responsibility for what may occur in the Parking, during its use.
- VISITS AND/OR COMPANIONS NOT REGISTERED TO THE ESTABLISHMENT AND YOUR ROOM
For control reasons, due to the establishment’s regulations, as well as the law in Spain, and for civil liability; visits or companions not registered during the check-in of your reservation at CIUDAD CONDAL are not allowed, neither in the common areas nor in the room. The maximum number of registered clients will be that which appears in your reservation, and for which it has been confirmed. We remind you that we have surveillance cameras. Failure to comply will result in a penalty of 35 Euros per person per night, plus the current tourist tax, using the existing beds, regardless of the age of the companion. Similarly, a double room booked for single use will not allow visitors and/or companions and will incur an extra charge of 35 Euros per person per night, plus the amount of the tourist tax.
- NO SMOKING
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all hotel rooms and common areas. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS POLICY will result in a direct charge of €200 per day in which the rule has been breached, as a penalty, on the room/card account.
- LUGGAGE STORAGE
* Free luggage storage for our clients, on the day of arrival / check-in, from 09:00 am on the day of arrival, until the time of entry into their room. Free luggage storage available on the day of departure / check-out, until 20:00 on the day of departure. (Exclusive advantage for clients who book with us directly, through our website, telephone or direct email)
- Luggage storage, outside of stay dates: €4 per item and (Upon request and payment in advance)
- LAUNDRY IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE ROOM
Personal laundry is not allowed in your room. You can check at reception for nearby laundry centres available to you, which are very affordable.
- ROOMS WITH BALCONY FACING THE STREET
Towels or other items cannot be hung from the railings and chairs outside the balcony, as this is against the regulations that are permitted by a heritage architectural building in Barcelona. If anything is found, our staff will remove it from the balcony without notice. Likewise, chairs or tables cannot be taken out onto the balcony from inside the room.
- ACCESS CARDS
Access cards to the establishment and the room must be handed in at Check-Out at reception. Loss and non-return of the card will incur an additional charge of 5 Euros per card. ·
- RESPONSIBILITY
Guests must comply with all reasonable rules and procedures in force at the hotel, including, but not limited to, legal requirements, health and safety procedures and registration. The Hotel shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of any of its obligations under this contract (Booking) if the failure or delay is due to any cause beyond its reasonable control, including (without limitation) war or threat of war, civil or political action or disturbance, riot, natural disaster, fire, epidemic, pandemic, bad weather, terrorist activity (threatened or actual), military activity, governmental or regulatory action, industrial disputes, acts of God, failure of power or machinery, failure or interruption in outside services and utilities, and all similar events beyond the control of the Hotel. For the avoidance of doubt, the Hotel does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Hotel.
- PROTOCOLS FOR ACTION IN CASES OF EMERGENCIES OR HEALTH CRISES
In the event that the Authorities declare a situation of emergency or health crisis that affects the normal operation of our hotel, this will be announced on our website and/or at the Reception, so that, as a Client, you are aware of the measures that are adopted and comply with them.
The Client who, in an emergency or health crisis declared by the Authorities, fails to comply with the measures, mandatory or recommended, that have been adopted in this Establishment may cause the immediate termination of their accommodation contract; their stay will be cancelled without the right to any refund, and with notification to the competent Authority.
